These are the measures to take if you want to get an NTR Bharosa pension.
Step 1: Apply through the Grama Panchayat with a duly completed application form and the above-mentioned papers.
Step 2: Janmabhoomi committees will review all of the applicant’s details after receiving the application from the Grama Panchayat.
Step 3: After the Janma Bhoomi committee has verified the qualified list, the MPDO or Municipal Commissioner would upload it to DRDA for sanction.
Note: Janmabhoomi is a campaign that oversees and coordinates development efforts through Village Development Committees (VDCs), executes government welfare programs, and engages in initiatives like face-to-face interactions with people to solicit input.
Rural
All pensions in favor of qualified persons suggested by Janmabhoomi Committees are sanctioned by the MPDO.
Urban
In the case of all pensions, the Municipal Commissioner is the sanctioning authority in favor of qualified citizens recommended by the Janmabhoomi Committees.
The monies are released to the Panchayat Secretary or Bill Collector by the Mandal Parishad Development Officer or Municipal Commissioner.
Step 4: Once the pension is approved, the pensioner will receive a Pensioner ID. The information about the pensioner will be available on the internet.
Step 5: In the presence of the Sarpanch or Ward Member and members of the Gram Panchayat or Ward, the Panchayat Secretary or Bill Collector will issue pensions directly to the pensioners in the village or ward.
Step 6: Tabs with biometric devices have been distributed to pension disbursement officers, allowing them to make monthly payments to beneficiaries.
Step 7: Pensions shall be dispensed on the first of every month at a predetermined location and time frame determined by the committee, with bedridden and Leprosy pensioners receiving doorstep payment.
Step 8: Pensioners are given a Rupay card, which allows them to withdraw money from a tiny ATM.
