The Electronic Payment and Application System of Scholarships (Epass) is basically an online scholarship disbursement system which was envisaged by Andhra Pradesh government to ensure speedier disbursal of scholarships to the economically backward students. It is a very good initiative taken by the government of Andhra Pradesh to offer the scholarship to the candidate whose family are not capable of sending their children for study for getting higher knowledge or the candidates those belong to SC/ ST / BC categories. This article is based on the AP Epass portal details.

The main objectives of Epass scholarship in Andhra Pradesh are:
The candidate can get enrolled into the Post Matric Courses approved by the concerned University/Board having a duration of 1 year and above.
Following are the Professional Courses approved for this scholarship:
Under this scheme, all Post Matric Colleges recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh.
It is mandatory to submit the application form online within one month from the date of admission. The principal of the Colleges or schools should issue the bonafide certificate on the same day of submission of application form (hard copy) in the college.
Field Officer/ASWO: Verification would be done physically twice in a year.
An officer from any of the Government Department verifies the Certificates and confirms their candidature in the Starting day of AP Epass.
If any candidate missed the process will have to face many problems. Hence, the Government has introduced the Biometric Process of Verification. The school or college can conduct this at any time. The overall process should be completed within one month of submission of application.

STEP 1.
Visit the official website of the AP Epass using the link: https://epass.apcfss.in/
Available courses are:
STEP 2.
Choose the Course for which you want to apply.
STEP 3.
Now, go to the option of pre-matric or post matric as per your requirement. It will show on the homepage in a scrolling if the registrations are open.
The students who belong to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe BC and Disabled can apply for the pre-matric scholarship program.
STEP 4.
By clicking the “Registration button”, you can follow the admission or registration form.
STEP 5.
Provide your Aadhaar and ration card details.
STEP 6.
Provide all your information.
STEP 7.
Provide all the details of the parents/guardian.
STEP 8.
Now, fill all the details of the school or college as well as the details of the course.
STEP 9.
Enter the State bank clearly with IFSC code.
STEP 10.
Enter the caste and income certificate details.
STEP 11.
Upload the required documents and in last enter the captcha.
STEP 12.
STEP 13.
Then, click on Submit Application.
It will depend on the course you pursue. Actually, most of the courses are eligible for 100% of the tuition fee reimbursement as fixed by the government. Whereas self-financed courses are eligible only for a maximum of Rs. 20,000 or the actual fee charged by the college, whichever is less.

Choose the option “Scholarship status tab”

The, you will be redirected to the next page.
STEP 4.
Now, fill the following details in this page:
STEP 5.
Then, give a click on the “Get Status” tab to know the current position of your application for the scholarship of ePASS AP. The page will provide you the option to take print of the whole application/scholarship status.
Following are the steps:
STEP 1.
Go to the official website of Andhra Pradesh Epass.
STEP 2.
Give a click on the ‘Student Services’ icon. Then, you will be redirected to the ‘Student services’
STEP 3.
Now, click on ‘Click Here’ option. At last, you will be redirected to the ‘Post Metric Scholarship Application Registration Form’ page given as below:
STEP 4.
Provide the required details, i.e., SSC Hall Ticket No, DOB, SSC Pass Year.
STEP 5.
Afterward, click on the ‘Enter’ button. It will ask again to select ‘CET’ or ‘NON-CET’, Click on ‘CET.’ Then, fill the student CET details, and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
STEP 6.
In last, you can renew the Epass.
